Notice Before Use
- Fasgear 4*8pin(6+2) extension cable is mainly designed for GPU which has 16pin(12+4) port, like RTX 3090 Ti, 4080, 4090.
- RTX 4090 and RTX 3090 Ti require PSU at least 850W, RTX 4080 require at least 750W.
- This extension cable should be used with original PCIE/CPU 8-pin cable, and need 4 unoccupied 8pin ports on your PSU. Please see our pictures for the correct connecting way.
- Choose 2*8pin(6+2) extension cable if using RTX 4070 Ti, 4070, 4060 Ti, 4060, 4050 Ti, 4050.

Why our cable can carry a maximum of 600W power?
- Our cable uses High Conductivity Copper Terminals, which can carry current up to 10-12A. 16AWG copper wire can also carry 12A current. Theoretically, there are 3 power supply circuits within an 8pin. 10A*12V*3=360W, that means, a single 8pin can carry a maximum of 360W power. The amount of power output depends on the capacity of the power supply. In theory, a single 8pin port of the power supply can output about 300W.
Will it affect using when the cable has 2 empty pins?
- No, it is not affect using because the 2 empty pin are connected to the GND wire with the function of overcurrent protection.
