- 4K @ 60 Hz is only available for laptops with activated DisplayPort 1.4 and 8K. If your laptop is DisplayPort 1.2 it can only reach 4K @ 30 Hz, if you don’t know how to recognize it, feel free to let us know, we welcome compatibility reports from users as well.
- To achieve 4K@ 60Hz, please ensure that both the connected device and display are the same resolution as well as the HDMI cable.
- The USB C PD Charging port allows a maximum of 100W pass-through charging. But the host device may not receive exactly 100W, as it may consume some while operating.
- PD port is only for charging, not support data transfer.
- Please plug in the Laptop’s power adapter to the USB-C Power Delivery port before connecting an external hard drive or multiple devices to the hub.
- Incompatible USB Format: Please confirm whether the format of the USB device is compatible. If it is not compatible, a formatting operation is required. But before the operation, please confirm that the data have been backed up.
- Connection: Using an extra extension cable or port conversion adapter for the hub is not recommended. Because it can cause slow transmission, HDMI port not being recognized, or other connective problems.
Does this usb c hub compatible with my laptop?
Only if your laptop’s built-in USB C port is fully funcitonal port which support Data transfer & Video Display & PD charging, you can use the full functions of our docking station.If you are not confirming, please let us know to solve it for you.
Why don’t work when I connect the monitors via the HDMI or VGA port of this laptop docking station?
Please check which function supports by your laptop’s built-in USB C Port, if the type of the built-in USB C port of your laptop isn’t the fully funcitonal port, then the HDMI,VGA, 3.5mm Jack of the hub doen’t work for your laptop.
Why can’t I use this dock station’s second USB C port to charge my laptop?
There have 2 usb c ports of our hub, the first usb c is a PD fast charging port, but the second usb c port only support data transfer function, it can’t used to charging or HDMI output. If you still can’t charge, please tell us your laptop model.
When I connect to macbook, I can’t extend the display of my desktop, why?
For Mac OS, due to apple system restrictions the docking station could only support to extend one monitor, the other monitors could only copy the monitor you extend.
Why does the laptop get hot when it is connected to the hub to work?
The hub temperature will heat up when it works. 0℃ – 50 ℃ is the normal and reasonable range. It’s a normal situation for all hubs, not a quality problem, please feel relieved about usage.
