Where and how to use the Firestar

Skating is a popular way to exercise while having fun!

• Use these skates at the roller rink, or outside on paved trails, sidewalks, and boardwalks
• If you are a beginner, skating lessons at the rink or park are a popular way to learn
• Find a local rink and get rolling!

Tips:

• New skaters will often try skating first inside the house, starting on carpet to go slower, then try rolling on hard floors
• Check wheel and truck tightness and adjust as needed prior to use
• Make sure wheels are clean before using at the rink

Fit and Sizing

Firestar fits true to children’s whole US shoe sizes. Some customers recommend getting 1 size larger than current shoe size, or 2 sizes larger for more growing room.

Tips for sizing up

• Wider feet, growing feet, or half sizes may wish to go up a size
• Wear thicker socks
• Add a shoe insert/insole (sold separately)
