All Stillman & Birn paper is internally and externally sized to provide exceptional wet strength that supports the application of multiple washes. In addition, the pigment stays on the sheet and the result is brilliant, vibrant glowing colour. These sketchbooks are available hardbound, wire bound or softcover. The binding is stiff when new and is designed to be broken in. Once the spines are broken-in they are able to lay completely flat without any damage or deterioration of the spine. This two-page drawings and easy flatbed scanning or copying. All wire bound books are double-wire spiral bound.
