Speed, distance and connectivity set the new Bluetooth 5.0 apart from the older generation. Gain faster transfer speeds of up to 3 times (3Mbps with Enhanced Data Rate) and extended distance of up to 4 times that of Bluetooth 4.0 (40 Meters).
The new Bluetooth 5.0 BQB certified with EDR allows the data rate to operate at 3 Mbps and thus enables higher data rates than Bluetooth 4. And the range for Bluetooth 5 for a maximum of around 40 meters which is up to four times the range of Bluetooth 4.2.
