Torquata Aluminium T Bar Sash Clamp are the go to for many woodworkers, however, one of their flaws is their weight. Sash clamps can quickly become heavy and cumbersome when they get long. These sash clamps are a fraction of the weight of the steel ones. These clamps are notched on the back to allow for a solid positive stop for the clamp. This allows for a solid anchor point for the sliding part of the clamp to lock into. Made from solid aluminium extrusion, these clamps do trade clamp pressure capacity for a dramatic weight reduction. These are ideal for people looking for clamps to use for assembly where heavy clamps could cause a piece to be pulled out of alignment. Also being aluminum these sash clamps are far less chemically reactive. No more rusty sash clamps in the shed to stain you workpieces. 80 kg of clamping pressure is more then adequate for light duty work such as simple glue ups where there is not a need for a great deal of pressure. Size of clamp is 610 mm.
