The 5-step ladder is the version I purchased. It’s easy to use and set up, and its small profile makes storage easy in linen closets and other small spaces.
It stands 5’6” at its apex, and the top rung is approximately 4’6” from the floor. Hopefully, this information helps you determine your reach with the largest size of the ladder.
The ladder is sturdy, but the rod in the middle splits the rung, so it limits your foot placement to certain angles.
In my opinion and experience with the ladder, this would make a great indoor ladder for quick access and use, but probably not as a “work” ladder if you’ll spend a lot of time on it painting or with similar projects.
It does what it advertises, and that’s exactly what I need it for. Quick access to upper cabinets and storage areas, and a quick put away when done.

Since I rent, it can get annoying to ask management for a ladder if I need to fix any lights or dust something up high. I’ve never owned a ladder but I figured it’s about time I have the ability to get up high if I need. I’m a small lady and this ladder is really perfect for my needs– and fits the bill for space saving which is so clever!! It even has a handle on the side if you wanna carry it horizontally. This ladder feels really perfect for someone of my size (5’3), so I can see how it might feel thinner / less sturdy to someone that is taller and heavier (in previous reviews). If you’re around my size this is a solid ladder. With this ladder I feel so much more ready to take care of my place if anything arises! I’m looking forward to using it for years to come.

I purchased this ladder for use with our RV and it was perfect! I folds compactly and has a carry handle for easy transport. It is very light and very stable. It tucks away nicely and does not take much room at all. Perfect for use with our RV. Great product and highly recommended!

I absolutely love this ladder! I’ve never seen a ladder that folds up to such a slim profile, so it hardly takes up any space. It’s plenty sturdy enough for me, but my husband feels the steps of the ladder are a little narrow. But if you’re limited on storage space, I totally recommend this! We’ve taken it on projects and had people ask us about it a number of times.

Other than having to be hyper aware to the possibility of getting fingers pinched it has worked out great! Love the way it collapses down and is easy to store and so far seems to be very sturdy.
