Fabricoat is a revolutionary fabric paint that can be used to restore or change the colour of fabric. It’s an innovative and highly durable paint that can be painted directly onto fabric. Just apply with a brush or sponge and it’ll instantly soak in and paint the fabric. It’s time to unleash the fab factor. Test the fabric for water absorbency first. If it’s absorbent, Fabricoat will work. Fabricoat is available in a range of 16 fabric paint colours. Colours are strong and vibrant and won’t fade or rub off after they’ve dried. The paints can be mixed to match any colour and used to restore fabric or paint custom designs onto the fabric. Make old things new again. If you’re changing the colour of fabric, the original fabric must be a lighter colour than the paint you decide to use. To keep the fabric soft, always brush the fabric (with our specialist Soft Bristle Brush) at regular intervals during the painting period to ‘unstick’ any fibres that have grouped together. If your fabric has a pile such as velvet, faux-suede, chenille, draylon or microfibre then you’ll need to use more product as there’s lots more surface area to cover. We recommend ordering double the amount.
