CT6100 Fuse Socket ConnectorsThe GTC CT6100 Fuse Socket Connector set was first released in 2003. The CT6100 connectors correspond to the fuse sizes which were most common between 1995 and 2005. The easy access connector tabs are designed to be used with 1/4″ quick connects, alligator clips, jumper leads, or multimeter test leads. Aftermarket Circuit Modifications with Fuse Socket Connectors
Fuse socket connectors can be used to selectively power-off circuits on a vehicle without modifications to wiring harnesses. This is commonly done on police and other law enforcement vehicles, where daytime-running headlights or other accessories must be independently controllable.
Fuse socket connectors are also used to add circuits in parallel or series with standard vehicle circuits. Common examples of this would be light bars on off-road vehicles, and towed-trailer lights.

Fuse Socket Connector Diagnostic Applications
- You can use the fuse socket connectors with a multi-meter to measure the voltage being supplied to a circuit
- Measure a circuit’s power consumption with a clamp-meter by attaching a short ‘pigtail’ wire (with a fuse) between the connector’s tabs
- Power-up a circuit without powering the whole car by using a fuse socket adapter battery or power supply to that specific circuit. This is commonly done for post-accident ECU data recovery.
