Installation

  1. Put the copper standoff into the hole of 2280. Orientation as the picture shown. (Note: this copper standoff acts as a support and keeps the M.2 SSD just level.)
  2. Tear off the front and rear transparent film of the thermal pad. Then lay it flat on the front of the M.2 SSD. For double-sided chip M.2 SSD, the same steps, put another thermal pad on the back of the M.2 SSD
  3. Insert the heat sink obliquely into the PS5 slot and fasten it with the long black screw.
