It all started in 2001 with a simple but powerful idea. Frustrated with heavy vacuum bottles and clunky stoves, Jetboil founders Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst set out to make outdoor cooking easier.

They discovered that the key to maximizing convenience and efficiency lay in combining heat transfer technology with innovative design. Alternating between lab and mountains, Dwight & Perry evolved their idea into a new product that was a total rethink of mobile cooking, and premiered their new FluxRing technology and integrated approach.

The result was a Personal Cooking System (PCS) launched in 2004 to instant acclaim from magazines and adventures worldwide. This revolutionary product combines heating, eating and drinking all in the same insulated cup, which integrates directly with a burner for fast no-fuss use. An insulating bottom cover allows the cup to be removed from the burner and immediate held in your hands to eat or drink.
