1. How do I check if the hub is compatible with my host device?
Please check the USB C port of your host device is support charging, video transfer, data transfer or not. If you cannot recognize it, please send your exact host device model to our customer support team.
2. I can’t get the HDMI port to work. What should I do?
1) Not all USB-C port are supports video output. Confirm if the connected USB C port of your device supports “DP Alt Mode” before purchase. Try a different laptop and HDMI cable to see if the issue still persists.
2) Plug your HDMI cable directly into your device and see if you get a stable connection.
3) If you can’t get a stable connection, then the problem is with your HDMI cable
4) Verify that your monitor is configured to the correct input (HDMI)
3. Why is the screen black and no display when using the hub to connect to the monitor?
Generally, the screen is not displayed due to improper settings. Please check if your Mac is in “desktop mode” with the lid closed after plugging in the power and connecting the mouse and keyboard. If it is a Windows laptop, please check whether it is wrongly selected as “Computer screen only” or “Second screen only”.
4. Why can’t charging a laptop via the hub reach that wattage as described on the details page?
The hub will withhold 10W of current. The actual charging power is the power of your PD power adapter minus the 10W required to be withheld for the hub.
