How to use Peppermint Oil to repel pest
- Pure Peppermint oil is a natural pest repellent to deter rats, mice, spiders, ants and snakes. To keep both insect and animal pests away, apply 5-7 drops to each cotton ball and place in various locations around the house.
- You can also make a pest-repellent spray. Combine two teaspoons of peppermint oil with one cup of water and then add a few drops of dish detergent to help the ingredients mix better. Shake it all together in a spray bottle and apply the mixture any place that you have or suspect you have mice. Reapply the spray as the scent fades, usually after about two weeks.
