The camera does not support home Wi-Fi – how does it connect to my phone?
The camera works automatically once powered ON, recording to the SD card without the app. The app connects via Bluetooth within 15m/48ft(no obstacles), then uses the camera’s local hotspot for control and playback within 30–50m/100–160ft.
How should I mount the camera for monitoring different animal sizes?
For deer/boar, mount at 1.1–1.3 m with a 15° downward angle. For foxes/rabbits, mount at 0.4–0.6 m level. For bears, mount at 1 m+ with a 10° upward angle to make it easier to photograph wildlife.
How can I install the solar panel, and what is the difference between integrated and separated installation?
The solar panel supports two setups: Integrated installation plugs the panel directly into the slot on the back of the camera, while separated installation uses screws or a bracket to position the panel toward the best sunlight.
How should I charge the camera using the adapter or solar panel?
For first use, fully charge via USB for 6–8 hours. For solar charging, mount the panel separately at ~45° facing the sun with no leaves or objects blocking it. Ensure the charging environment is above 0°C (34°F).
