I got this for my kitty Penny’s food. I’m tired of the cat food Bag sitting around the kitchen (tacky) and we’ve been remodeling so the sanding has powder residue all over my kitchen. This container kept the food perfectly sealed so no powder got into the food. I’ve read about it being cheap but I don’t think it is cheap at all. I also don’t plan on slamming it around but I’ve cleaned it twice, nothing has broken or cracked. It’s really a great container. The lid is a screw on so I think the struggle people are having is because they are trying to snap it down. You have to twist it, not a snap on. I wanted a small cart for my pets (dogs & cat) that I can put can food, treats, and accessories on but still hide. I used to keep a scooper in my dog food bags but now I just pour the whole bag in this and it makes feeding my dogs, a breeze and actually kind of fun. I can either pour straight from the Container or use the lid to distribute.
