Create beautiful watercolour effects in graphite on paper.
Drawing and watercolouring: Tips & Tricks
Step 1: Sketch
First, gently sketch out all the shapes. The 4B hardness grade is best suited for this.
Step 2: Hatching
By setting shadows and structures, the image gains in depth. The softer the pencil used, the darker the hatching.
Step 3: Watercolouring
Use a brush and a little water to colour the surfaces. The picture becomes particularly interesting when some areas remain white!
